ENKIDOU is a Java-based component library (API) for the development of customized,
vertical graphic environments for CAE driven design and scientific computing.
A vertical application is an organized sequence of CAE tasks leading to the solution of
an engineering problem.
ENKIDOU provides the user with an easy-to-access data structure, which is optimized in terms of CPU
and memory requirements.
The prominent features of ENKIDOU are:
Using ENKIDOU classes, development is much quicker without any compromise on quality.
ENKIDOU fully supports 3D OpenGL graphics and provides a collection of base components for menus
and other interface features.
A certain number of high-level modules are integrated into ENKIDOU
and ready to be used for application development, such as:
Using ENKIDOU, you can develop a complex application such as GENESIS environment in few weeks.
Furthermore, a prototype takes only a few hours (not days ... just hours).
Final users can thus validate specifications in real time.
ENKIDOU based development is carried out in Java, including OpenGL graphic programming.
Dynamic link libraries originated from other languages can also be used.
The speed of an ENKIDOU application is comparable to that of applications developed in
compiled languages (C, C++, ...).
The end user is free to pick and choose any architecture for his application.
No constraints come from the use of ENKIDOU.
